Seems every time I take a turn onto a new path I am rewarded—in my weekly walks, and in life. But today’s stroll reminded me that the most rewarding adventures are often the ones where we revisit the familiar and uncover something new, some gem that, up to now, had been hidden away from us.
Have you ever had a dream where you discover a whole new suite of rooms in your house you didn’t know you had? That’s my Paris neighborhood. Just when I think I’ve charted every path, I find yet another little street, revealing something truly special. I’m sharing these latest discoveries with you today, along with a message: While we are often told to venture out in order to create a bigger or more meaningful life, the truth is that we already have everything we need to be happy right here and now. It might just take a little exploring—or some soul searching—to bring it to light.

This looks like a movie set. How could I have never seen this before? ©Lisa Anselmo

Finally decided to explore a passage I’d ignored up to now, and was immediately rewarded—with this yummy Necco-wafer colored building tucked away behind the busy street. ©Lisa Anselmo
