Music Monday is here again! Where do these days go? Today’s song is a classic with a twist. So you purists might have to put on your special “I can dig it” ears. I think you’ll like it quand même. A tribute to two special ladies: Paris, and La Môme.
Sous le Ciel de Paris. Words: Jean Dréjac; Music: Hubert Giraud; Vocals: Lisa Anselmo; Arrangement: Acoustic Project

Thank you so very much for your posts everyday. It has helped me get thru this challenging time. You lift my spirit whenever I read it. I look forward everyday to sit with my cafe and read thru your post. I have read your book several times and passed it on to many friends. I was encouraged by your adventure to also follow my dream. I now own a apartment in the south of France. So thank you. !! Stay safe and healthy!! I’m stuck in my Canadian home waiting to get back to France my happy place.
You have a beautiful voice ! And are inspiration to all women. Can’t wait for your next book.
Thank you, Deb! And thank you for your support. You read my book several times? Wow, what can I say? How exciting that you took the leap and got your own place in France. Good for you. If I inspired you, I’m humbled and honored.
Lisa that was excellent, well done. So enjoyable boating on the Seine, so romantic.
Merci !!!
Thank you!
Thanks Lisa for putting in time and effort to do this every day! I was to come to Paris in July, sadly I’m stuck in my Calif home and I will have to cancel. A bientôt!
Thank you for reading every day! I hope you can come to Paris again before to long.
Thank you Lisa for that wonderful song. I closed my eyes while you sang and imagined myself in Paris, my dream to return to that special place. Your book arrived yesterday and I plan to start reading it tonight. Thank you also for your daily posts. They give me something to look forward to in these difficult days.
Oh, wonderful! I hope you enjoy the read. If you like it, I hope you’ll leave a review on Amazon. Those reviews help writers a lot. Thank you so much for making the investment in my story.
I loved this! Well, I’ve loved all your musical offerings. This one is especially evocative of time and place. A much better time and a wonderful place.
I would love to be ‘sous le ciel de Paris’ right about now. And was planning to be in July to celebrate a milestone anniversary. Sadly, it’s not to be.
I know, it makes me so sad for you. So many of my readers have talked of cancelled plans. Many of my friends, too. It’s heartbreaking for Paris, too. Maybe the fall? Who can say?
